Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I recently purchased an 07 yamaha yz450f and had the suspension done and started pursuing my dream. I've had some help along the way but most of what got me started was my own determination and desire to be the best.

List your competitive highlights:

So far in the year that I have been racing/riding I have already won the high point in the open c in chowchilla and am currently third in the open c high point at lodi cycle bowl.

What are you planning for next season?

Next season I plan on becoming an expert rider and showing all the people that have doubted me just how good I am capable of being.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment to date would have to be making the main at the stockon mile. It was my first mile race and I beat out some of the fastest A and B riders in the nation to make it and to finish 15th out of 29 riders was a pretty good feeling.

What inspires you to compete?

I would have to say that my inspiration to compete comes from my desire to be the best at my sport.

Why do you like this sport?

My love for the sport of dirttrack racing comes from being around it for most of my life and my love for motorcycles.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Growing up I had always been around bikes and have always had racing in my blood. I recently purchased an 07 yamaha yz450f and never having the chance to ride before decided to finally give myself the chance to race and start my mission to be the best in the sport of dirttrack racing. Having been on my bike for less than a year, I have already won the open c high point in chowchilla and am running third in the open c high point at lodi cycle bowl. I feel that with a little more experience and help I will have no problems achieving my goal of being number 1 in the sport of dirttrack racing.

Why do you compete?

I compete in this sport because it's always been a dream of mine and now that I have some of the resources I am in pursuit of that dream and following in the footsteps of some of the greatest dirttrackers in the history of motorcycle racing.
